Strategic Partnerships Manager, Germany

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for a Strategic Partnerships Manager based in Munich, Germany. This role carries primary responsibility for the German market while contributing to broader EMEA and international partnership initiatives. You will identify, develop, and execute partnership strategies that accelerate product adoption across enterprise, developer, and consumer channels.

This position requires 3 days per week in our client's Munich office.

Responsibilities

• Own partnership strategy and execution for Germany, driving end-to-end partnership development and delivery while supporting broader EMEA priorities
• Negotiate and close strategic local and cross-border agreements covering commercial terms, product scope, data/privacy, brand/marketing, incentives, and expansion paths
• Lead senior partner relationships with technology platforms, enterprise software vendors, telcos, cloud providers, and government-aligned organizations
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, GTM, Legal, Policy, and regional teams to align roadmaps and execute partnership initiatives
• Apply deep knowledge of the German market and regional differences across EMEA to inform prioritization, positioning, and partner selection
• Define success metrics and use analytical judgment to assess progress, surface risks, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, product partnerships, business development, or general management within the technology industry
• Fluency in both English and German (required)
• Demonstrated success leading high-impact local and international partnerships involving major technology partners, including complex cross-border work
• Deep understanding of the German market combined with experience operating across multiple countries and international markets
• Product-savvy with ability to engage technical stakeholders credibly and influence product direction and roadmap tradeoffs
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence
• Strong analytical instincts and comfort using data to inform decisions and communicate impact
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment and adapt quickly across changing markets, verticals, and partnership types
