Professional Services Team Manager – Implementation Consulting

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Professional Services Team Manager to lead their implementation consulting function in London. Our client is scaling rapidly and needs an experienced leader to build, coach, and enable a high-performing team of Implementation Consultants.

This is a strategic leadership role where you'll own the end-to-end delivery of customer implementations, drive process improvements, and shape how enterprise clients adopt and optimize a modern AI-enabled work platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of Implementation Consultants delivering projects of varying complexity and scale
• Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery across a high volume of concurrent customer engagements
• Guide the team through full project lifecycles: discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, rollout, training, and launch
• Partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Partner teams to coordinate seamless project execution
• Coach, mentor, and develop individual contributors while setting clear performance expectations using data and transparent feedback
• Drive onboarding strategy and expand product usage and revenue within the customer base
• Identify and execute process improvements, develop policies, refine delivery methods, and implement tooling to scale operations
• Maintain accountability for team KPIs and operational metrics
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members as the function grows
• Build programs and initiatives that enable the team to scale efficiently

What We're Looking For

• 5–10 years of experience in Implementation, Professional Services, or Managed Services—preferably in SaaS or technology consulting environments
• 3–5+ years of people management experience leading technical or client-facing teams
• Extensive hands-on experience with project management platforms, CRM systems, service desk tools, or collaborative work management software
• Proven experience delivering or overseeing AI-related implementations, including AI workflow automation, AI-powered platform features, or AI transformation projects
• Familiarity with AI tooling and the ability to advise customers on integrating AI capabilities into their workflows and solutions
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures—both internally and with external stakeholders
• Strong capability to translate department strategy into tactical initiatives and execute on them
• Process-focused and metrics-driven mindset with a desire to build scalable, repeatable systems
• Experience estimating delivery effort and creating Statements of Work
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative team player comfortable working cross-functionally
