About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI ecosystem organization based in Hamburg. Our client operates at the intersection of artificial intelligence innovation, venture capital, and corporate implementation. They support companies in adopting AI technologies and foster connections between startups, established businesses, and industry experts through platforms, events, and advisory services.

We're seeking a working student (Werkstudent) for Marketing & Communications to join their dynamic team. This role offers hands-on experience in shaping the social media presence of a growing AI-focused organization, with immediate involvement in promoting a major industry summit and long-term responsibility for building their broader digital community.

Responsibilities

• Manage social media presence for a major AI summit event (November 2026), from announcements through speaker highlights to live event coverage
• Independently operate multiple social media accounts across the organization's ecosystem, ensuring consistent and active engagement
• Handle community management: interact with posts and comments, share relevant content, and maintain vibrant exchanges with followers
• Support planning and execution of social media campaigns
• Build and maintain the organization's Instagram presence as a long-term initiative
• Develop new content formats for social media and contribute creative ideas
• Optionally support email and newsletter campaign planning and execution
• Assist with general communication planning and help grow the community through networking and online events

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration (Marketing focus), Communications, Media Studies, or comparable field—or demonstrates strong social media proficiency
• Genuine interest in technology innovation and artificial intelligence
• Confident use of common social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) with good instinct for trends and target audiences
• Creativity, strong language skills, and ability to communicate appropriately for different audiences
• Initial experience with content creation or tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar (advantageous)
• Strong teamwork capabilities, self-initiative, independent working style, and quick learner
• Previous community management experience (advantageous)
• Familiarity with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Slack, Airtable (beneficial but not required)
• Very good German (C1+) and English language skills
• Available for at least 6 months, able to work 20 hours per week
• Based in Hamburg or the surrounding region
