Product Owner AI (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential MedTech organization seeking a Product Owner AI to take full ownership of a new AI-based medical device. You will manage the product's technical specification, backlog, and requirements from initial scoping through implementation and international deployment, serving as the central liaison between medical, regulatory, and AI development teams.

• Own the product lifecycle end-to-end: from feature scoping and specification through implementation, launch, and international roll-out
• Translate medical and business requirements into clear technical specifications and a prioritized product backlog, incorporating input from users, markets, and internal stakeholders
• Support the MDR compliance process by providing technical and product input for regulatory decisions on intended use, risk assessment, and output presentation
• Maintain and own the software requirements specification (SRS), working closely with the AI engineering team to specify and integrate the MDR-certified AI system into the product
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy the device across multiple international markets on the existing platform, adapting to local regulatory and market requirements

What We're Looking For

• Technical background or hands-on experience with software/API specifications, with the ability to bridge technical AI/engineering details and regulatory, medical, and business perspectives
• Motivation to work hands-on in a startup environment, balancing pragmatic execution with structured processes
• Strong ownership mentality with structured working methods and the drive to push initiatives forward while collaborating effectively with teams
• Experience in product management or comparable role, ideally with exposure to AI products, regulated environments (e.g. MDR), or internationalization
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus but not required)
• Comfortable navigating between technical, regulatory, and business contexts and translating requirements in both directions
