Solutions Integration Architect – SAP

We are representing a fast-growing enterprise software company seeking a Solutions Integration Architect with deep SAP expertise. Our client is building a next-generation platform that connects seamlessly with ERP systems across hundreds of enterprise customers. This is a rare opportunity to shape integration standards at scale, working at the intersection of product engineering and enterprise implementation.

As a Solutions Integration Architect, you'll be responsible for designing, standardizing, and maintaining the technical foundation that powers our client's SAP and broader ERP integration ecosystem. You'll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to create reusable integration assets that enable scalable, repeatable customer deployments. Your work will directly influence how hundreds of future implementations are delivered.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and iterate on core SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) and Ariba integration templates that deliver scalable, repeatable customer implementations
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design teams to ensure integration templates align with product architecture, field insights, and customer requirements
• Analyze complex customer implementations to identify reusable data mapping patterns and system behaviors, converting bespoke solutions into standardized internal assets
• Partner with account teams during pre-sales to design and validate integration architectures for prospective customers
• Define, document, and champion technical solution consulting best practices to drive consistency across all implementations
• Expand expertise across multiple ERP ecosystems, becoming a subject matter expert on integration architecture and data models
• Balance high-level architectural design with hands-on API configuration and template modification to deliver solutions correctly the first time
• Build scalable technical solutions with an engineering mindset that enable effortless future implementations

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering integrations with SAP ERP environments (ECC, S/4HANA) or procurement platforms like Ariba
• Strong foundational knowledge of SAP business processes and data models within Materials Management (MM) and Financials (FI)
• Familiarity with standard SAP integration methods such as IDocs, BAPI/RFC, OData APIs, or SAP BTP/CPI
• Experience with XML/REST based endpoints and standard authentication protocols
• Prior ERP implementation, integration, configuration, or administration experience required
• Ability to translate highly technical information for audiences with varying technical expertise
• Comfortable working with API documentation, testing, and troubleshooting integration errors
• Able to understand customer requirements and document information quickly with minimal oversight
• Continual learner open to new technologies and integration platforms
• Experience working collaboratively with product and engineering teams
• Process-driven with a bias toward continuous improvement and systematic problem-solving
• Strong communication skills with extreme attention to detail
• Proactive mindset and ownership mentality

Preferred: Familiarity with iPaaS tools (though candidates with strong core integration logic who can learn new platforms quickly are welcome)
