Werkstudent IT Support (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization based in Düsseldorf that is seeking a Working Student IT Support (m/w/d) to join their IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will provide essential 1st and 2nd level technical support, helping colleagues resolve technical issues quickly and pragmatically while contributing to the smooth operation of daily business activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for enrolled students who want to gain hands-on experience in IT support while balancing their academic commitments with flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for colleagues requiring support with Windows clients, macOS, printers, MS Office, and common business applications
• Process support requests in a structured manner through to resolution or appropriate escalation
• Support the helpdesk team during onboarding of new employees by setting up PC workstations and ensuring equipment is ready and functional
• Conduct workplace checks to verify IT workstation functionality and assist with troubleshooting and error analysis
• Help implement standards for stable setups in everyday operations
• Contribute to process and infrastructure optimization projects focusing on stability, user satisfaction, and efficiency
• Work primarily on-site at the Düsseldorf office, ideally 2-3 times per week

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university (Immatrikulation required)
• Extended foundational knowledge of IT systems with ideally hands-on experience setting up and deploying PC workstations with Windows 11 and macOS
• Familiarity with setup and operation of printers and scanners, with structured troubleshooting approaches
• Basic knowledge of common Office applications
• Strong German communication skills (written and spoken) and good English proficiency
• Problem-solving mindset with a practical, user-focused approach to technical support
