About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential IT research organization in the Munich area that is seeking talented individuals for an apprenticeship program beginning September 2027. Our client operates cutting-edge computing infrastructure and provides a unique learning environment where trainees work with state-of-the-art technology while supporting scientific users.

This is a structured 3-year apprenticeship program (Ausbildung) leading to certification as a Fachinformatiker/in for System Integration. You'll gain hands-on experience with modern IT infrastructure, network technologies, and enterprise-level systems while receiving comprehensive professional development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer, and configure IT workstations and user environments
• Coordinate hardware and software components to ensure seamless integration
• Test, update, and optimize IT infrastructure systems
• Work with innovative operating systems, current software platforms, and modern computing technologies
• Provide technical support to end users and respond to technical inquiries
• Participate in rotation through various IT departments to gain comprehensive experience
• Collaborate with experienced teams on live operational projects

What We're Looking For

• Abitur, Mittlere Reife, or equivalent secondary school qualification
• Strong skills in mathematics, computer science, and English
• Very good German language proficiency (C1 level required)
• Enjoyment of working with people and providing user support
• Enthusiasm for solving IT problems and troubleshooting technical challenges
• Curiosity, team spirit, and ability to work independently
• Genuine interest in IT, computers, and modern technologies

Program Details: This is a full-time apprenticeship starting September 1, 2027, with a 3-year duration. Training includes vocational school attendance in Munich, internal courses covering communication and presentation techniques, and practical work within specialized technical teams. The position offers 30 vacation days, flexible working hours, and access to sports programs.
