Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential research computing organization in their search for a Systems Administrator to manage and develop enterprise wiki solutions. In this role, you will:

• Operate and continuously develop a multi-tenant collaboration solution based on enterprise wiki software
• Provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for the platform
• Create and maintain operational documentation
• Serve as the primary contact for clients regarding questions and issues
• Evaluate alternative wiki systems for strategic platform development
• Work within a certified, transparent process environment focused on quality and traceability

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable field
• Experience administering Windows server systems
• Experience administering Linux server systems (Debian)
• Desirable: Database administration experience
• Desirable: Experience building and operating enterprise collaboration platforms
• Desirable: Experience with Kubernetes and containerization
• Strong German and English language skills (Level C)
• Excellent communication abilities and team orientation
• Strong comprehension skills with independent, customer-focused work approach
• Willingness to share knowledge and critically evaluate processes to drive team improvements

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with part-time options available. The role offers flexible working arrangements including up to 60% remote work for suitable tasks. The location is Garching bei München, Germany. The initial contract runs through December 31, 2028, with prospects for continuation.

Pay
