We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their distributed team across the Americas (LATAM, Canada, USA).
Responsibilities
- Own product feature development end-to-end, including scoping, architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to solve complex user problems
- Drive improvements to developer productivity through code quality, process optimization, and mentorship
- Contribute across the full stack in a distributed team environment
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience building complex web products from concept to production
- Full-stack expertise spanning frontend, backend, and everything in between
- Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails and React (or comparable JavaScript frameworks)
- Excellent written communication skills—our client operates in a documentation-first culture
- Self-directed work style with the ability to own projects autonomously rather than waiting for instructions
- High empathy for both teammates and end users, with the ability to understand diverse perspectives
