Full-Stack Growth Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential health technology company in their search for a Full-Stack Growth Engineer. Our client has built a personalized platform that combines AI, human expertise, and personal health data to support lasting behavior change. This is a remote role open to candidates located anywhere in the continental United States.

As a Full-Stack Growth Engineer, you'll build and maintain the product systems that help prospective members discover the platform, convert into active users, and reach their first moments of value. You'll work across web and backend surfaces that power acquisition, signup, onboarding, and early engagement—shipping experiments end to end and partnering closely with product, design, data, and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve web and product surfaces that drive acquisition and conversion, including landing experiences, checkout flows, and plan selection interfaces
• Simplify signup, login, account creation, and first-session activation to remove friction and clarify value for new members
• Design, ship, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across the funnel, partnering with data teams to define metrics and experiment hygiene
• Implement features across frontend and backend—APIs, services, web UI—with clear ownership and fast iteration
• Instrument funnels, cohorts, and activation milestones using qualitative and quantitative signals to identify leverage points and explain experiment outcomes
• Maintain high-traffic growth journeys with attention to speed, stability, and observability
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and marketing to translate growth hypotheses into shippable work
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development while applying engineering judgment to validate output

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills:

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful ownership of consumer growth, acquisition, activation, or conversion surfaces
• Strong full-stack capabilities across modern web frontend and backend services
• Proven experience running growth experiments in production—A/B tests, funnel instrumentation, and iteration based on measured outcomes
• Understanding of customer journeys, segments, touchpoints, dropoff analysis, and how product changes impact activation and retention metrics
• Ability to debug across web UI, networking, backend services, analytics pipelines, and CI systems
• Experience partnering with product, design, and data teams to move from ambiguous problems to shipped learnings
• Track record of writing clear, maintainable code with attention to experiment integrity and observability
• Active use of AI coding tools in your development workflow with ability to verify output
• Passion for health, fitness, and helping people build better habits

Nice to Have:

• Experience at a consumer subscription, marketplace, or membership product where acquisition was core to the business
• Familiarity with HIPAA and health-related regulations
• Background with paid acquisition landing systems, attribution, SEO, lifecycle messaging, or referral systems
• Experience building experimentation platforms, feature flags, or analytics instrumentation at scale
• Prior work on fitness, health, coaching, or personalized consumer products
