Join Resolv Global as a Care Assistant, providing compassionate overnight support to our residents in Randburg, West Johannesburg. We're seeking a dedicated professional committed to delivering person-centred care and maintaining the dignity and independence of those in our care.
About the Role
This is a full-time position focused on delivering high-quality care during night shifts. You'll support residents in a residential care environment, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the evening and overnight hours. This role requires someone who understands the importance of respecting individual preferences and promoting autonomy, whilst working collaboratively with our broader care team.
Core Duties
- Provide direct personal care and support to residents during night shifts, maintaining their dignity and individuality
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, toileting, and dressing as needed
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any concerns to senior staff members
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families to understand their needs and preferences
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure consistent, quality service delivery
- Document and report on residents' care and any incidents appropriately
What You Bring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
- Compassion and a genuine commitment to person-centred care
- Physical capability to provide hands-on support and assistance
- Reliability and capability to work night shift hours
- Previous experience in older person care (preferred, but not essential—we provide training)
- Valid references and compliance with required background checks
