Lead/Principal Process Intelligence & Supply Chain Transformation Consultant – Manufacturing/Production

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Lead/Principal Process Intelligence & Supply Chain Transformation Consultant based in Munich. This is an individual contributor role where the Lead/Principal designation reflects seniority level, which will be assessed during the hiring process.

As a trusted advisor, you will help enterprise customers achieve strategic goals through data-driven business transformation. You will own the end-to-end value journey—landing new clients, expanding relationships, driving adoption, and securing renewals. This role blends deep process and industry expertise with proven consulting skills and strong analytical capabilities.

Native-level German proficiency is required. You must be able to lead customer workshops, conduct executive presentations, and manage stakeholder interactions in German.

Responsibilities

Identify & Frame Value

• Discover and translate customers' strategic priorities into high-impact use cases for process intelligence platforms
• Build demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices to win new customers
• Undertake value assessments or proof-of-value projects and communicate value opportunities and strategic roadmaps to C-level executives

Realize Value

• Facilitate business value workshops and use process intelligence tools to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement
• Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives
• Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives

Scale Value

• Own the end-to-end customer value journey: landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
• Build strategic expansion roadmaps for customers, embedding process intelligence as a strategic business transformation platform
• Provide feedback to product development teams to enhance platform capabilities based on new use cases

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background:

• Proven experience in an analytical role focused on demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, process improvement, and software deployment
• Customer-facing experience in solution consulting, sales engineering, IT/management consulting with a business software or SaaS provider, or in an enterprise center of excellence for data analytics
• Experience identifying use cases for business process improvement, deploying improvement measures, and acting as a change agent

Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of business software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP)
• Experience implementing RPA and/or BI tools, building dashboards, apps, and action flows
• Knowledge of Python and/or SQL
• Experience collaborating with IT teams

Core Competencies:

• Project management: planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines across multiple accounts at different stages
• Executive stakeholder management: preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Domain & Industry Expertise:

• Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domains
• Knowledge of strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., shared services transformation, system transformation)
• Ideally, expertise in one or more industries: Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals
• Ability to develop deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities

Education:

• Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or comparable program

Language:

• Native-level or near-native German language skills (written and spoken), with the ability to confidently engage German-speaking customers, facilitate workshops, and present to executive stakeholders
