About This Role
We are representing a well-funded technology organization building innovative messaging solutions. Our client is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with deep React and TypeScript expertise to join their growing engineering team. This is a remote opportunity based in the United States.
This role requires an engineer who can balance individual ownership of critical frontend components with strong collaborative skills. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where code quality, clear communication, and pragmatic decision-making are essential to success.
Responsibilities
- Implement critical UI components, shared functionality, and key subsystems including monitoring, testing, and validation
- Rapidly build functional UI elements from design specifications and workflow diagrams with focus on correctness and maintainability
- Establish and maintain high standards for code craftsmanship and quality across the frontend codebase
- Actively participate in technical discussions around ticket specifications, design reviews, and architectural decisions
- Engage in thorough and constructive code reviews with team members
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience building production React applications
- 1+ year of hands-on TypeScript experience
- Minimum 3 years working with strongly typed programming languages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of idiomatic UI implementation patterns and best practices
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
- Solid understanding of browser programming environments including the DOM, data-fetching APIs, storage APIs, sessions, HTTP, and caching strategies
