Trainee Vertrieb / Sales (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software company in Berlin that is looking for a Sales Trainee to join their structured development programme. This is not a sink-or-swim role – you'll receive 9 to 12 months of mentorship with a clear learning path and the goal of a permanent position afterward.

Our client provides workforce planning solutions to industrial customers, and they work with well-known manufacturing and production companies across the DACH region. This is your chance to learn modern B2B software sales from the ground up with proper support.

Responsibilities

• Identify target companies where the software creates genuine value and research the right contacts within those organizations
• Reach out to potential customers via phone, LinkedIn, and email – developing your own approach rather than following scripts
• Conduct initial discovery calls to understand planning challenges and qualify opportunities
• Maintain your pipeline in the CRM system and track metrics that drive your success
• Participate in trade shows and events from preparation through follow-up
• Test different outreach strategies and learn what works in practice

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree, commercial apprenticeship, or other proof that you learn new topics quickly
• Native-level German language skills
• Enough organizational structure to manage 50 open contacts simultaneously
• Interest in industrial sectors, manufacturing, and products that deliver real value
• Resilience – you won't be discouraged by hearing "no"
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or similar client-facing roles is a plus but not required

After successful completion of the programme, a permanent position is the plan, not the exception.
