About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide evidence-based nutrition care through virtual delivery. In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, deliver individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support patients with weight management, cardiometabolic risk reduction, and sustainable health behavior change.

This is a remote position based in the United States. You'll work with patients through telephone, video, and portal-based communication to deliver personalized nutrition interventions and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients with diverse nutritional needs, including weight management, cardiometabolic risk reduction, and lifestyle-related health concerns using evidence-based practices
• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition prescriptions, interventions, and care plans that reflect patient health needs, cultural considerations, preferences, and achievable wellness goals
• Deliver individual and group nutrition education using motivational interviewing, empathetic listening, and evidence-based counseling strategies to promote sustainable behavior change
• Support patients in structured weight management programs, including those using GLP-1 and other weight management medications, by providing nutrition strategies that promote appropriate intake and sustained outcomes
• Collaborate with primary care providers, RN care managers, health coaches, behavioral health clinicians, and other care team members to coordinate nutrition recommendations and monitor progress
• Document nutrition assessments, interventions, patient goals, education, and follow-up activity accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Contribute clinical nutrition expertise to program and quality improvement activities, develop patient education materials, and participate in team activities

What We're Looking For

• Registered Dietitian credential with current registration
• Experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy and nutrition counseling
• Knowledge of evidence-based nutrition practices for weight management and cardiometabolic conditions
• Proficiency with motivational interviewing and behavior change counseling techniques
• Experience with virtual care delivery through telephone and video platforms
• Strong documentation skills and experience with electronic health records
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
