Senior Product Manager – Software Solutions

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial technology client in their search for a Senior Product Manager to lead their software and solutions business. This is a true business-building role—not managing what exists, but creating what comes next. You'll own strategy, P&L, and growth for a software product line that sits at the intersection of IoT, cloud platforms, and frontline operations.

This position reports directly to the Chief Product Officer and requires regular collaboration at the Munich office under a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L for the software product line, including ARR growth, attach rate, net revenue retention, and customer value realization
• Define and execute long-term strategy and market positioning for cloud-based software solutions
• Lead go-to-market strategy across sales, marketing, and customer-facing functions to build repeatable revenue engines
• Develop pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies that balance short-term performance with long-term value creation
• Act as executive sponsor for strategic customer deployments, ensuring measurable ROI and outcome delivery
• Align cross-functional teams—Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing—around business outcomes and execution discipline
• Translate customer needs and industry trends into scalable product solutions and business priorities
• Establish operating rhythms, performance management, and decision-making frameworks
• Drive software penetration across the installed base and build expansion and renewal motions

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5–8+ years of product management experience, preferably in software, cloud, SaaS, or IoT environments
• Proven track record delivering cloud-based or SaaS products
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to translate customer needs into scalable, commercially viable solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leadership
• Professional fluency in English
• Commercially obsessed and outcome-driven mindset—you think in terms of value and usage, not features
• Comfortable navigating both technical and commercial discussions
• Strong business acumen and ability to balance innovation with execution

Nice to Have:

• Experience in industrial technology, IoT, hardware, or embedded systems
• Background establishing or changing SaaS business models
• Experience with IoT platforms or enterprise B2B software
• Familiarity with microservices and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with product-led growth and monetization strategies
