About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential industrial technology organization in their search for a Product Manager – Android Integration & Ecosystem based in Munich. Our client is a growing company in the enterprise wearable technology space, expanding their product portfolio to connect hardware devices with broader enterprise Android ecosystems.
This is a strategic product role focused on defining how connected industrial devices integrate, deploy, and create value within enterprise Android environments. You'll shape the product strategy for integration capabilities, ecosystem partnerships, and scalable deployment solutions – transforming integration from a technical necessity into a source of differentiation and commercial opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the product strategy and priorities for enterprise Android integration and ecosystem capabilities, aligned with customer needs and business goals
- Work directly with customers, sales teams, and solution architects to identify recurring integration problems and distinguish individual requests from broader market needs
- Translate recurring integration needs into repeatable product capabilities including APIs, SDKs, tools, documentation, integration patterns, and deployment solutions
- Shape the product experience for device setup, provisioning, application distribution, device management, and fleet operations at scale
- Make strategic decisions about where the organization should own capabilities, enable partners, or collaborate with ecosystem players
- Identify relevant platforms, applications, standards, and ecosystem partners; shape integrations, certifications, and technology partnerships
- Explore opportunities where integration capabilities, software, and services can create differentiated value and support commercial or recurring-revenue models
- Partner closely with engineering teams and other product managers to align on customer problems, priorities, trade-offs, and desired outcomes
- Enable customer-facing teams to clearly communicate Android propositions, supported capabilities, integrations, and common deployment patterns
- Maintain awareness of enterprise Android, AOSP, enterprise mobility, AI, and adjacent technologies; translate developments into strategic options and product priorities
What We're Looking For
Essential qualifications:
- Strong product management experience in B2B or enterprise technology environments
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy, discover customer problems, prioritize opportunities, and build scalable products
- Commercial mindset connecting product decisions with customer value, differentiation, and business impact
- Experience working with enterprise software, platforms, connected devices, integrations, or technology ecosystems
- Technical depth to understand architecture, interfaces, and trade-offs; ability to contribute credibly to platform and integration discussions
- Systems thinking: ability to look beyond immediate requests to understand underlying patterns and create simple, repeatable solutions
- Strong ownership mentality; ability to move initiatives forward in ambiguous environments
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills across product, engineering, sales, and external partners
- Clear communication skills with ability to make complex technical and commercial topics accessible to diverse audiences
- Curiosity about customers, business models, and emerging technologies
- Pragmatic judgment balancing speed, simplicity, quality, and long-term value
- Fluent English; comfortable in international work environments
Valuable but not required experience:
- Enterprise Android, AOSP, or adjacent Android ecosystems
- Enterprise mobility management (MDM/EMM), device provisioning, application deployment, or fleet management
- Rugged or industrial devices, IoT, edge devices, or B2B technology ecosystems
- API/SDK development, developer experiences, and enterprise integrations
- Platform or ecosystem strategy, technology partnerships, certification programs
- Enterprise customers deploying technology at scale
