We are representing a confidential consulting firm specializing in supply chain management for industrial clients. Our talent team is seeking a Manager Supply Chain Planning to join a high-performing practice that advises market-leading manufacturing organizations across automotive, life sciences, pharma, chemicals, and machinery sectors.

This role offers the opportunity to shape digital transformation initiatives for global industry leaders, working on end-to-end supply chain planning projects with significant strategic impact. You'll work alongside experienced consultants delivering integrated business planning solutions that drive measurable results for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supply chain planning consulting projects for large national and international industrial organizations independently
  • Provide process consulting expertise in supply chain planning, logistics, and manufacturing with focus on tactical planning levels supporting strategy execution
  • Design efficient processes, organizational structures, governance frameworks, and KPI systems for integrated business planning
  • Implement and technically execute solutions across the entire supply chain in collaboration with technology specialists
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for client teams
  • Develop creative, client-specific solution approaches that integrate process understanding with innovative IT technologies

What We're Looking For

  • University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, or comparable qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of consulting experience specifically in supply chain planning
  • Proven track record delivering SCM projects in consulting environments
  • Experience applying process management methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma, Kaizen, process modeling, organizational development, and change management
  • Strong analytical capabilities with high-level abstraction skills
  • Interest in innovative topics and willingness to learn new solutions
  • Ability to integrate process expertise with IT innovations in client-facing, future-oriented contexts
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
  • Fluency in German and English required
