Engineering Program Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for an Engineering Program Manager based in France. Our client is a fast-growing technology company delivering enterprise planning solutions at scale.

This role sits at the heart of the engineering organization, acting as a force multiplier across technical teams. You'll work with 1-3 engineering teams at a time, driving clarity, delivery, and organizational excellence in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Excellence: Partner with engineering teams to enhance clarity, direction, and scope. Coordinate cross-functionally with Product Managers and other stakeholders to keep complex projects on track—from technical scalability initiatives to feature development.
• Scaling the Organization: Lead initiatives that address growth challenges, including release pipeline health, incident response processes, monitoring improvements, knowledge management, and evolving roles and responsibilities as the team expands.
• Team Culture: Contribute to engineering well-being through internal communication, organizing all-hands meetings, hackathons, team events, and supporting hiring and employer branding efforts.
• Continuous Improvement: Maintain the team roadmap, rotate responsibilities, participate in peer development sessions, and champion new ideas that accelerate delivery and strengthen culture.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience helping technical teams build and run software in fast-paced environments, balancing process with individual empowerment
• Background in technical project/product management, engineering management, quality engineering, or production-related roles (we welcome diverse backgrounds)
• Ability to read and understand code, review technical designs, and engage in technical discussions—no coding required, but software engineering experience is a plus
• Resourcefulness: You thrive when dropped into new contexts and enjoy crafting your own solutions
• Change Management: You're a people person who navigates change with intelligence and courage
• Diligence: You connect dots others miss, drive alignment through clarity and shared understanding
• Integrity: You lead by example, inspire others, and prioritize team success
• Fluency in English (French not required)
• This role does not involve people management
