We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in Paris that is looking for a Finance Systems Engineer to join their growing team. Our client is building the future of financial operations through advanced automation, AI-powered workflows, and scalable system architecture. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the Paris office.

Responsibilities

Systems Architecture & Modeling (50% of role):

• Design, build, and optimize multidimensional models and processes for internal accounting functions including procure-to-pay, quote-to-cash, and record-to-report
• Translate complex accounting policies, billing structures, and revenue recognition rules into scalable, logic-based data flows
• Ensure seamless data mapping between upstream systems and ERP ecosystems, maintaining a reliable single source of truth
• Build tool-agnostic infrastructure that scales with organizational growth

AI Engineering & Process Automation (30% of role):

• Leverage LLMs and native AI capabilities to build automated reporting agents
• Deploy workflow automation to streamline month-end closing tasks, anomaly detection, and real-time cash forecasting
• Evaluate and test next-generation fintech tools to move toward fully automated, real-time audit-ready processes
• Implement smart automation using APIs and workflow tools

Governance, Support & Evolution (20% of role):

• Maintain technical documentation, schemas, and playbooks for the finance stack with engineering-level rigor
• Partner with FP&A teams to maintain a unified data dictionary across the organization
• Contribute to long-term roadmap planning for ERP architecture optimization

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 3 to 6 years in FinOps, RevOps, or as a Finance Business Analyst / Analytics Engineer within a fast-growing tech or SaaS environment
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in multidimensional modeling tools or strong background in data manipulation (advanced SQL, Python, or expert-level logic)
• AI Competency: Understanding of how to prompt LLMs, use APIs, and deploy AI agents to automate repetitive processes
• Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles, P&L mechanics, and cash flow management; ability to translate finance requirements into system logic
• Education: Degree in Engineering, Data Science, MIAGE, or Business School with focus on Business Intelligence or Information Systems
• Languages: Fluency in both French and English required
• Mindset: Builder mentality with excitement about architecting scalable finance systems

Pay
