We are representing a confidential public sector organization in Munich that is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their finance team. This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements, including partial remote work options.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outbound invoices and credit notes while ensuring timely processing and delivery
• Maintain debtor accounts and master data as well as accounting-relevant information in SAP
• Handle accounts receivable management tasks and resolve open items
• Support monthly closing procedures and prepare financial evaluations and reports
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to contribute to efficient accounting processes

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training as a tax specialist, industrial clerk, office management clerk, or comparable qualification in finance or accounting
• At least three years of professional experience in accounts receivable accounting, financial accounting, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures
• Proficiency in SAP and solid Excel skills
• Structured and methodical approach to work with strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on results and service excellence
• German language proficiency required for this position
