Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential organization based in Bonn seeking a 1st-Level Support professional to join their IT team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for incoming IT requests and user inquiries.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Receiving and processing incoming IT support requests from end users
- Analyzing and resolving technical issues related to hardware and software
- Providing direct support to users experiencing technical difficulties
- Documenting incidents and their resolutions within the ticketing system
- Escalating complex requests to second-level support teams when appropriate
- Supporting the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT workstations
What We're Looking For
Our client is seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Business Administrator, or comparable qualification
- Prior experience in 1st-level support, IT support, or a similar position is highly desirable
- Solution-oriented approach with strong communication skills
- Structured working style when interacting with end users
- Good German language proficiency (required for this position)
The ideal candidate brings a customer-service mindset combined with technical aptitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure while troubleshooting user issues.
