About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential engineering client in Munich seeking an Application Engineer (m/f/d). In this role, you will provide technical support and consulting to international customers on industrial machinery and dispensing systems, conduct customer trainings and laboratory testing, and develop tailored technical solutions. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring travel within Germany and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation and support to international clients regarding industrial machines and dispensing systems
- Conduct customer training sessions and perform application tests in the company laboratory
- Develop customized technical solutions based on client requirements
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs directly on equipment at customer sites
- Visit clients domestically and internationally to support technical meetings and trade show appearances
- Work hands-on with machinery and equipment, explaining complex technical concepts in clear, solution-oriented language
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Professional experience as Application Engineer, Technical Applications Specialist, or similar role (preferred)
- Strong technical aptitude with hands-on experience, ideally with dispensing systems, machinery, or comparable industrial applications
- Experience in the automotive sector is advantageous
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and international assignments
- Excellent German and English language skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to international audiences
- Practical problem-solving approach with customer-focused mindset
