Technischer Redakteur Ersatzteildokumentation (m/w/d)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential engineering organization in Munich seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist for spare parts documentation. This is a full-time position requiring strong technical comprehension and documentation expertise in a German-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain spare parts documentation including associated data records
• Evaluate technical documents, drawings, and parts lists, preparing them for documentation purposes
• Develop technical illustrations and verify documentation for completeness and quality
• Process change requests and ensure technical documentation remains current
• Coordinate documentation projects and collaborate closely with clients, service providers, and internal departments

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Technical Writing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or completed training as Automotive Mechatronics Technician, Automotive Technician, or Master in Vehicle Technology with relevant additional qualifications
• Ideally, professional experience as Technical Writer, Technical Documentation Specialist, Technical Product Designer, or Documentation Manager
• Strong technical comprehension and proven experience in technical documentation
• Knowledge of editorial and illustration tools; experience with 3D data is advantageous
• Structured work approach with quality consciousness
• Excellent written and spoken German; good English language skills required
