Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential engineering organization in Munich seeking a structural analysis calculation engineer. In this role, you will:

• Perform structural mechanical analyses and FEM calculations to evaluate components, assemblies, and complex technical systems
• Create and optimize calculation models, define boundary conditions and load cases, and assess results for strength and load-bearing capacity
• Develop technical improvement proposals and present calculation results to internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze structural loads, deformations, and failure mechanisms while supporting numerical and analytical calculations
• Accompany experimental testing and contribute to the advancement of calculation methods and material models

What We're Looking For

Our client requires candidates with the following qualifications:

• Completed degree in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, computational mechanics, or a comparable engineering discipline
• Professional experience as a calculation engineer, simulation engineer, FEM engineer, or development engineer is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of FEM calculation, simulation, and structural analysis with practical experience using HyperMesh, HyperWorks, Ansys, or comparable tools
• Familiarity with relevant calculation guidelines and methods such as FKM-Richtlinie or VDI 2230, as well as Linux knowledge, is advantageous
• Team-oriented mindset, analytical thinking, structured work approach, and business-fluent German and English language skills in both written and spoken form
