About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential real estate investment firm with a strong presence in the German market. Our talent team is seeking an intern to join their Acquisitions & Asset Management function on a rolling basis. This is an off-cycle internship opportunity based in Frankfurt am Main, with potential for conversion to a permanent role for high performers.
Our client operates across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and underwriting through asset management, with a focus on residential real estate. The team evaluates opportunities across the risk spectrum, including distressed situations, value-add plays, and stabilized income-producing assets.
Responsibilities
- Build financial models to underwrite and value potential acquisitions
- Conduct market, sector, and competitor research to support investment decisions
- Prepare investment memoranda and committee papers for live and prospective transactions
- Support commercial, technical, legal, and ESG due diligence workstreams
- Assist with asset management activities across the existing portfolio
- Coordinate with internal operations and development teams on transaction execution
What We're Looking For
- A completed bachelor's degree, or a master's degree in progress or completed, in finance, economics, real estate, or a related field
- Prior internship experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate, or a related field
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills (assessment will be part of the interview process)
- Fluency in both German and English
- Minimum commitment of 3 months; preference for candidates available for 6 months
- Availability to work on-site in Frankfurt am Main
