Anlagenbuchhalter (m/w/d) Assetmanagement

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential public sector organization in Munich seeking an Asset Accountant (m/w/d) to join their finance team at the earliest possible date.

In this role, you will design and optimize processes within asset lifecycle management and support asset-related workflows. You will manage master data, record complex asset movements, and process assets under construction including subsequent settlement. You will support monthly and annual closings according to HGB standards while monitoring asset-relevant accounts and open items. Additionally, you will evaluate different asset classes for balance sheet purposes, ensuring correct recognition and disclosure. Your responsibilities include documenting accounting decisions, coordinating asset inventories, and collaborating closely with internal departments.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a commercial qualification such as Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) with relevant professional experience
• At least two years of experience in asset accounting, balance sheet accounting, or asset management
• Strong knowledge of asset process design and handling complex asset-related matters
• Proficiency with SAP as well as MS Office and Excel
• Analytical thinking, teamwork skills, and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
