Product Manager (B2B/SaaS) m/w/d

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS organization based in Münster, seeking an experienced Product Manager to own product strategy and execution from concept through release. You will serve as the central bridge between leadership, engineering, customer success, sales, marketing, and end users.

In this role, you will translate customer needs, market requirements, and business objectives into clear product strategy, prioritized roadmaps, and actionable requirements for the delivery team. You'll work closely with customers to understand their challenges and drive concrete product decisions while remaining deeply involved in operational execution.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Own product strategy, vision, and roadmap, ensuring product decisions align with company objectives
• Prioritize the delivery backlog and make informed trade-off decisions balancing customer requests, technical effort, business feasibility, and strategic value
• Conduct customer conversations, discovery interviews, and requirements analysis independently
• Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable tickets for the development team
• Serve as the primary contact for development questions and evaluate technical and functional feasibility with Tech Lead and UX
• Guide features from conception through implementation, testing, QA, acceptance, and release
• Coordinate go-to-market and launch communication with customer success and marketing teams
• Create or coordinate release notes, product documentation, and customer-facing product communications
• Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to develop insights for product evolution
• Collaborate closely with leadership, tech, UX, customer success, sales, and marketing while maintaining transparency on priorities, progress, and decisions
• Leverage modern tools, AI applications, and automation to make product work more efficient and impactful

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Successfully completed degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
• Experience with strategic product ownership, roadmap development, and market positioning
• Proficiency in backlog management, prioritization, and writing user stories with acceptance criteria
• Solid technical understanding of web applications, APIs, and data models; ability to discuss feasibility with developers on equal footing
• Willingness to test features yourself, critically evaluate them, and properly accept deliverables
• Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented work style combined with hands-on mentality for operational tasks
• Confident presence in meetings with ability to clearly engage, moderate, and align diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with agile methodologies like Kanban or Scrum and experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, or comparable systems
• Enthusiasm for conducting customer conversations, understanding user needs, and deriving genuine product improvements
• Comfortable using LLM tools, AI applications, and workflow automation in daily work, or strong interest in actively adopting these
• Business-fluent German and proficient English communication skills

Preferred experience:

• Background in e-commerce, shipping, post-purchase communication, or logistics
• Experience with product metrics and collaboration with data analytics teams
• Experience creating rough mockups or prototypes, for example in Figma or with AI assistance
• Experience with information security, data privacy, or ISMS topics
• Basic knowledge of GitHub or technical product workflows
• Experience creating product videos, help documentation, or release communications
• Experience providing guidance to working students or junior team members
