Inhouse IKT-Risikomanager / Auslagerungsmanagement (m/w/d) – bis 100% Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization based in Düsseldorf that seeks an experienced ICT Risk Manager / Outsourcing Management professional. This role offers up to 100% remote work with flexible scheduling in full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours). Our client operates in the regulated payments sector with over 100 employees and maintains a fully established DORA compliance framework.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-oriented assessments of ICT risks, third-party risks, and outsourcing arrangements in daily operations with structured, independent judgment
• Drive risk analyses, protection needs assessments, and control audits forward while ensuring concrete follow-up on risk mitigation measures
• Implement operational management of ICT risk and third-party management in accordance with DORA, ZAG, and BaFin requirements
• Analyze service provider risks hands-on, review emergency concepts and exit strategies, and ensure business continuity requirements are met
• Investigate acute ICT incidents and resilience test results from a risk perspective to rapidly prevent operational disruptions
• Prepare risk data and ICT matters in a targeted manner, delivering decision-ready documentation for management, committees, and control bodies
• Support regulatory authorities and auditors during examinations by providing audit-proof evidence on a daily basis

What We're Looking For

• Solid practical experience in IT security, ICT risk and third-party management, compliance, or IT governance
• Deep, practice-tested knowledge of the regulatory environment including DORA, ZAG, EBA guidelines, BaFin requirements, and data protection regulations
• Operational strength with detailed knowledge of IT processes, including incident and business continuity management, and practical implementation of digital operational resilience
• Analytical working style with hands-on approach to risk assessments and ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into functioning processes, controls, and board-ready documentation
• Technical proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence) and modern collaboration systems in daily practice
• Language skills: Fluent German (C1 level) for daily business communication and comfortable professional English
