Senior Consultant SAP FI/CO (m/w/d) S/4HANA Finance

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading consulting organization specializing in digital transformation and enterprise solutions for manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, and industrial sectors. Our client delivers end-to-end SAP implementations for globally recognized companies and hidden champions across German-speaking markets.

We are currently seeking a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant (S/4HANA Finance) to join their Finance & Controlling practice. This remote role offers the opportunity to shape financial transformation initiatives for major industrial enterprises transitioning from operational accounting to strategic financial management on SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

• Lead process consulting engagements for large industrial clients with focus on manufacturing environments
• Execute SAP FI/CO projects as sub-project lead and/or consultant
• Design and implement enterprise solutions based on SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA Finance
• Provide change management support and end-user coaching
• Support presales activities and client relationship development
• Mentor junior consultants and trainees in SAP finance competencies
• Plan, lead, and deliver internal and external training sessions

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Logistics, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 4 years consulting experience in process optimization and transformation projects within financial or management accounting
• Strong integrative process understanding across finance modules
• Prior experience as (sub-)project leader in large SAP projects for manufacturing clients preferred
• Ideally familiar with: global accounting standards design, New General Ledger/Universal Journal, parallel accounting (IFRS/local GAAP), segment reporting, New Asset Accounting, Credit Management, Cash Management, SAP data migration
• Independent, proactive working style with analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages advantageous
• Willingness to travel, including occasional international assignments
