About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential multinational organization seeking a Senior HR Generalist for a 2-year contract based in Berlin, Germany. This role offers the opportunity to support HR operations across German offices within an international framework, managing the full employee lifecycle and partnering with teams across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all administrative aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding processes
  • Partner with recruitment teams to coordinate seamless employee onboarding experiences
  • Manage employee absence, leave administration, and coordinate documentation for payroll processing
  • Support implementation and monitoring of performance evaluation programs
  • Implement and localize personnel policies while maintaining compliance with German regulations
  • Advise employees and managers on company processes, policies, and HR matters
  • Coordinate relocation and transfer processes, including visa applications and payroll transitions
  • Maintain HRIS integrity and generate standard reporting on turnover, benefits, and other metrics
  • Administer benefit plans in accordance with local regulations and company procedures
  • Provide operational support on employee relations matters including grievances and disciplinary procedures
  • Coordinate relevant training programs across the organization

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of HR experience within a multinational company environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably with specialization in Human Resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Working knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday
  • General knowledge and understanding of benefits and compensation practices
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving competencies
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Positive attitude with the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively and independently across organizational boundaries
  • Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve
