About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential public sector IT services organization in Germany seeking a Kubernetes Administrator/Private Cloud Engineer. Our client is at the forefront of digital transformation, building infrastructure that serves millions of users. This is a fully remote position based in Germany.
As the successful candidate, you will ensure container infrastructure runs smoothly and remains future-ready. Your mission will be creating a highly available, scalable, and secure platform where applications operate reliably. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll drive automation and optimization of the cloud environment.
Responsibilities
- Advise on, design, and implement private cloud platforms
- Collaborate with specialist teams to provision necessary infrastructure
- Measure, analyze, and optimize performance and stability
- Build and operate distributed systems applying DevOps methodologies
- Promote Continuous Integration and Deployment processes for efficient solution delivery
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution in container environments
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in cloud/platform operations
- Experience in agile development and operation of distributed systems
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Ansible (essential)
- Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in container environments
- Experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting proxies
- Deep understanding of DevOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift, and JavaEE (advantageous)
- Very good German language skills (C1 level) and conversational English
