About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global marketing technology organization seeking an Optimisation Principal to be based in London. This is a strategic leadership role focused on driving experimentation-led growth initiatives for major international clients. You will define data-driven growth strategies, champion continuous testing methodologies, and integrate sophisticated tech stacks to deliver measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy scalable experimentation-led growth frameworks, methodologies, and best practices aligned with client business objectives
• Champion an evidence-driven testing culture, shifting organizations from basic A/B testing to sophisticated, hypothesis-led experimentation programs
• Lead cross-functional teams in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments, translating complex data into strategic growth initiatives
• Act as principal advisor for global optimisation activities, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across diverse regions
• Deliver strategic forecasting, executive-level performance reporting, and actionable recommendations tied to core business KPIs
• Oversee global program operations, managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-schedule, in-scope execution
• Maximize resource allocation, monitor program throughput, and rigorously measure ROI to justify investment decisions
• Architect integrated technical solutions ensuring seamless interoperability across experimentation platforms, analytics suites, content management systems, customer data platforms, and personalization engines
• Oversee technical planning and delivery to ensure data pipelines and tools effectively support client growth targets

What We're Looking For

• Visionary Leadership: Extensive experience leading global growth and optimisation strategies, driving organizational change, and managing multi-region client portfolios
• Deep Technical Stack Expertise: Hands-on mastery and architectural understanding of experimentation platforms (Adobe Target, Optimizely client/server-side), analytics tools (GA4, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude), customer data platforms and personalization engines (Segment, Tealium, Dynamic Yield, Braze), and content management systems (AEM, Sitecore)
• Statistical Rigor: Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis for A/B testing, data synthesis, and translating metrics into business strategy
• Program Execution: Demonstrated ability in Agile and Waterfall delivery, resource planning, risk management, and budget oversight for complex global accounts
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong influencer capable of uniting product, engineering, marketing, and data science teams around shared growth goals
• Experience with data warehousing, governance, and pipeline architecture
• Proven track record of building testing cultures within large organizations
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
