Responsibilities

• Receive and triage emergency requests via radio, phone, and chat using standardized protocols and checklists to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Prioritize concurrent requests in real time, determining urgency and nature of each situation to allocate resources appropriately
• Document all inbound communications and dispatch decisions with thoroughness and accuracy
• Route information and dispatch instructions to relevant responders while consistently following established operational procedures
• Manage multiple communication channels simultaneously without compromising attention to detail
• Contribute domain expertise to help define data quality standards and protocol effectiveness for training purposes
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the realism and accuracy of communications simulations

What We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in ambulance or emergency dispatch operations, including incident triage and prioritization
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and remain composed in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong emphasis on clarity and professionalism
• Experience handling multiple communication channels (radio, phone, chat) simultaneously
• Proficiency in applying standardized decision-making protocols and checklists
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation of all interactions
• Experience as a dispatcher or coordinator (formal certification not required for this engagement)
