About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization building digital products around institutional thought leadership. They serve a global audience of institutional finance professionals, including hedge funds managing significant capital. This is a first-of-its-kind content leadership role with complete ownership from day one.

You will work directly with senior leadership and domain experts to build content strategy and distribution that drives measurable audience growth and conversion across specialized financial domains. This role comes with engineering support to build programmatic content systems that scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute content strategy for each active domain, targeting specific institutional finance audiences rather than general viewership
• Own all content formats: video, short form, long form, webinars, and emerging channels that prove their value
• Build and run a content experimentation framework that tests formats, hooks, and styles at volume, scaling successes and eliminating what doesn't perform
• Create a programmatic content engine that transforms expert insights into high-quality published content efficiently, leveraging engineering resources
• Track performance metrics rigorously and iterate quickly to ensure audience and purchase intent compound over time

What We're Looking For

• End-to-end ownership of content strategy in finance, fintech, data, or a high-growth startup environment—not just contribution, but full accountability
• Data-driven mindset: you can articulate which audience you owned, starting size, ending size, and which channels drove growth, with specific figures
• Strong grasp of finance and economics; the audience are professionals in this space, so you must maintain credibility through subject matter knowledge
• Portfolio of published work demonstrating high quality standards; be prepared to discuss three pieces you're proud of and what you would refine today
• Entrepreneurial builder who wants to create systems from scratch rather than operate existing teams—this is the first content hire with no immediate delegation
• Based in or relocating to London
