Finance and Accounting Working Student

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI-driven industrial materials company operating across multiple European markets. Our client is experiencing rapid growth and seeks a Finance and Accounting Working Student to join their team in Berlin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a current student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in finance and accounting within a fast-paced, technology-enabled trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Support financial analysis efforts by gathering and analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions by processing invoices, payments, and receipts
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance activities, including gathering supporting documentation and completing forms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial projects and initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Excellent English and German language skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful insights
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
