Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential laboratory services organization in Berlin seeking a working student (Werkstudent) to support their sample registration process. In this role, you will:

• Transfer customer and product information into the laboratory information management system (LIMS)
• Register and process incoming food and feed samples, including labeling, weighing, preparation, and photo documentation
• Independently create testing parameters to ensure smooth sample flow and timely processing
• Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and handle general administrative tasks
• Support customer communication to clarify order details
• Assist with practical tasks in various laboratory areas and sample preparation as needed

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a natural sciences program (e.g., food chemistry, biotechnology, food technology, or comparable fields)
• Hands-on mentality and comfort working with various sample materials (food and feed products)
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
• Interest in sample registration as the central starting point for laboratory analysis processes
• Careful, organized, and analytical working style
• Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Excel; prior experience with databases is a plus
• Willingness to work Saturdays when required
• German language proficiency for customer interaction and documentation
