Senior Product Designer (Full Remote – Italy)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology company experiencing extraordinary growth in the consumer space. They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their fully remote team and help define the next generation of AI-powered user experiences.

This is a unique opportunity to work on products used by millions globally, collaborating with product managers and engineers to solve complex design challenges across conversational interfaces, character creation, monetization flows, and emerging product areas.

Location: Italy (Full Remote)
Employment Type: B2B contract preferred, but flexible arrangements considered

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design across multiple product areas from concept through delivery
• Translate complex technical and product challenges into intuitive, high-quality user experiences
• Balance speed, experimentation, and craft across fast-moving product initiatives
• Design for engagement, retention, monetization, and conversion at scale
• Create and iterate on visual content (image and video) to support product exploration and in-product experiences
• Contribute original product ideas and creative concepts that push beyond the immediate brief
• Identify opportunities and help shape new features through proactive exploration
• Work confidently across modern design, prototyping, and creative tooling
• Experiment with emerging workflows and AI tools to accelerate exploration and execution
• Communicate design reasoning clearly and defend ideas thoughtfully with product, engineering, and leadership teams

• Strong experience designing high-quality consumer digital products
• Excellent product thinking and interaction design capabilities
• Strong technical fluency and comfort working with AI tools
• Advanced prototyping skills with ability to choose appropriate fidelity based on testing objectives
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• High design taste and strong visual judgment
• Confidence operating independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• High ownership mindset with strong decision-making ability
• Portfolio demonstrating consumer product work, product thinking, prototyping capability, and measurable impact

Key Working Qualities:

• Succinct, high-trust communicator who respects others' time
• Speed-first operator who maintains momentum and removes blockers quickly
• High-agency, product-minded designer with strong point of view
• Collaborative and direct, able to push back thoughtfully and keep teams unblocked
• Stays at the bleeding edge of AI in design and constantly improves workflows
• Ruthlessly prioritizes high-leverage work and says no to low-impact distractions
• Comfortable working with NSFW product experiences

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with AI-native, conversational, social, or highly interactive products
• Experience designing monetization or subscription products
• Experience designing for NSFW or adult user experiences
• Motion design, design systems, or front-end development experience
