About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is building the future of mobile financial services. Our talent team is seeking a Technical Product Manager - DevEx to join their fully remote engineering organization.

In this role, you will own the developer experience for a fast-growing engineering team, making it dramatically easier for engineers to ship features quickly, securely, and reliably. You'll lead initiatives that remove friction from the development lifecycle, exploring AI solutions and traditional tooling with equal pragmatism. This is a chance to drive meaningful impact on engineering velocity while maintaining the quality standards of a financial institution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers with full ownership of feature delivery workflows and developer productivity solutions
  • Research, prototype, and implement AI and traditional tooling to remove engineering friction
  • Define product goals, metrics, and roadmaps based on internal user needs and mission impact
  • Drive user research within engineering and product teams to deeply understand pain points
  • Write clear design documents and facilitate asynchronous, fast-moving decision-making
  • Build prototypes to test ideas and validate solutions before full implementation
  • Relentlessly gather feedback through user conversations and data analysis
  • Prioritize problems blocking engineering productivity and delivery speed
  • Directly manage the DevEx team, partnering with the Tech Lead on technical standards
  • Over-communicate context, priorities, and decisions to ensure team alignment

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 3+ years of product management experience with a hands-on engineering background (you've shipped production code) OR direct PM ownership of developer experience/productivity functions
  • Proven success overseeing the full product development lifecycle: user research, design, implementation, and evaluation
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Strong ability to inspire and lead by influence across multiple cultures
  • Experience with lightweight, outcomes-focused product processes rather than rigid methodologies
  • Track record of taking ownership for outcomes and coordinating across teams
  • Ability to ruthlessly prioritize based on impact while listening with empathy

Bonus:

  • Proven experience rolling out AI-based solutions in larger organizations
  • Professional experience in consumer fintech
  • Active experimentation with AI in real workflows with honest evaluation of results

Location & Work Arrangement:

  • Fully remote role
  • Must be based in the United Kingdom, Spain, USA (East Coast), Canada, Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, or Burkina Faso
  • Annual travel to operational markets in Africa required (at least once per year)
  • Co-working stipend provided to support team meetups
