AI Trainer – Freelance Data Annotator

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization seeking freelance data annotators in Australia. This is a project-based opportunity for professionals interested in supporting the development and improvement of AI systems through structured evaluation and content review work.

As a remote contributor, you'll help AI models learn by reviewing, labeling, and evaluating various types of content according to detailed project guidelines. Work is flexible and part-time, fitting around other professional or academic commitments.

Responsibilities

• Review provided data including text, images, or videos according to project specifications
• Label and classify content based on detailed guidelines
• Rate AI-generated responses and evaluate factual accuracy
• Compare multiple AI outputs and identify quality differences
• Flag factually incorrect, sensitive, inappropriate, or unclear material
• Complete assigned tasks within project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Ask clarifying questions when guidelines require interpretation

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Minimum 1 year of professional work experience in any field
• Strong logical thinking, fact-checking, and reasoning abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex, multi-step instructions
• Strong written and spoken English at C1+ proficiency level
• Excellent communication skills with ability to ask clarifying questions
• Genuine interest in technology and artificial intelligence
• Availability for approximately 10-20 hours per week during active project phases
• Comfort with project-based, non-permanent work arrangements
