Account Director, Raconteur

Responsibilities

We are representing a B2B media and content marketing organization seeking an Account Director to drive new business growth in their London operation. In this senior, quota-carrying role, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Prospecting into enterprise accounts and engaging senior B2B marketing decision-makers from cold outreach
• Selling integrated marketing solutions including branded content, thought leadership programs, research initiatives, roundtables, and digital campaigns
• Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline to meet ambitious revenue targets
• Creating strategic account plans and insight-led proposals aligned to client marketing objectives
• Managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and high-value opportunities
• Collaborating with editorial, content, and delivery teams to ensure successful campaign execution
• Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management within Salesforce
• Tracking KPIs including revenue, opportunity value, meetings, and account progression

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate brings 4-7 years of experience selling B2B media, branded content, publishing, or integrated marketing solutions with a proven track record of generating net-new business.

Must-have qualifications:

• Demonstrated success prospecting from cold start and consistently exceeding revenue targets
• Experience selling content-led marketing solutions such as branded content, research programs, sponsorships, or demand generation campaigns
• Strong understanding of how enterprise marketers evaluate brand-building and thought leadership initiatives
• Proven ability to engage senior marketing stakeholders and develop consultative, commercially compelling solutions
• Proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern prospecting tools
• Highly motivated, resilient, and accountable with a passion for winning new business
• Current UK work authorization (visa sponsorship not available)

Strongly preferred: Background in B2B publishing, business media, trade media, martech, adtech, research firms, or content-focused marketing organizations.
