About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential telecommunications infrastructure organization seeking a Working Student in Accounting for their Düsseldorf office with remote flexibility. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience building Finance Operations from the ground up.

Our client is in a growth phase, establishing their Finance Operations organization across Accounting & Reporting, Finance Projects & Systems, and Treasury. You'll work alongside experienced professionals while taking on real responsibility in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations and take ownership of specific processes, such as invoice receipt processing
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting activities
• Participate in finance projects, including ERP system implementation
• Help design and build efficient end-to-end processes as the organization scales
• Provide support and consultation to other departments on finance-related matters
• Work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with the broader finance team

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study
• German proficiency at C1 level and English at B2 level
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills and high degree of self-motivation
• Eagerness to take on responsibility and contribute ideas proactively
• Interest in working within a startup-like, fast-paced environment
• Prior practical experience in accounting (industrial company, audit, or advisory) is ideal but not required
