Senior Consultant/Manager Business Strategy (m/f/d)

Our client combines AI-driven automation with a skilled professional network, serving over 150 enterprise customers worldwide. With strong revenue performance and international expansion underway, they're positioned for significant continued growth.

We're seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager-level Business Strategy professional to join their leadership-facing strategy team in Munich. This is not traditional consulting—you'll own projects from analysis through operational implementation and see your work drive measurable business impact in real time.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional strategic projects with direct exposure to the executive leadership team, taking full ownership from initial analysis through implementation support
• Analyze operational processes to identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities, then drive concrete optimization initiatives across the organization
• Conduct rigorous data analysis, develop clear strategic recommendations, and prepare executive-level decision materials
• Present strategic insights and recommendations confidently to internal stakeholders and external partners
• Support M&A activities including due diligence, financial modeling, post-merger integration, and sales enablement as needed
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Strategy and leadership team on the company's most critical strategic initiatives
• Bridge strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring recommendations translate into operational reality

What We're Looking For

• Outstanding degree in a technical or management-oriented discipline from a top-tier university
• Minimum 4 years of experience at a leading management consultancy (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent) at engagement manager, project lead, or higher level
• Proven track record of independently leading strategic and operational projects and managing consulting teams
• Strong structured thinking with hypothesis-driven, data-focused problem-solving approach
• Deep analytical understanding of operations processes and ability to identify practical improvement levers
• Executive presence with confident stakeholder communication skills at all organizational levels
• Fluency in both German and English (C1 minimum in both languages)
• Solid experience with M&A and integration processes (due diligence, financial modeling, PMI)
• Background in tech, SaaS, or platform business models preferred
• Collaborative team player mindset with genuine hands-on mentality and no-ego approach
