Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media agency in Hamburg that is seeking a Senior Digital Media Planner to join their team. In this role, you will plan digital media campaigns, take strategic ownership, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Media Planning: Develop digital media plans based on client briefs, translating objectives into appropriate channel and tactic mixes for holistic campaigns with clear rationale and prioritization.
  • Coordination & Steering: Manage relevant interfaces and partners in day-to-day operations, ensuring briefs and requirements are structured and aligned.
  • Planning Quality & Documentation: Deliver clean documentation, clear assumptions, and consistent argumentation while setting standards and providing reliable foundations for implementation.
  • Innovation & Development: Actively monitor market and platform developments, introduce new approaches to planning, evaluate them realistically, and make them applicable to client strategies.
  • Budget & Quality Management: Ensure adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines while maintaining planning logic even in complex setups.
  • Rate Optimization: Contribute to securing the best conditions for clients by providing strategic justification from the planning perspective.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Completed degree or training in marketing, media, business, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Several years of experience planning digital media campaigns, ideally from a media agency, with the ability to own topics independently.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong familiarity with common planning tools, relevant media terminology and KPIs, and the digital media landscape including programmatic, social, SEA, retail, content, and performance marketing.
  • Analytics & Strategy: Excellent analytical skills combined with strategic and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Communication: Strong communication abilities and the capacity to explain complex topics clearly and persuasively.
  • Language Skills: Very good German language skills, both written and verbal.
  • You are team-oriented, ambitious, and reliable.
