Customer Trainer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential medical technology organization in their search for a Customer Trainer based in France. This role supports the delivery of advanced surgical system training programs to healthcare professionals across multiple specialties. You'll work directly with surgeons, operating room staff, and first assistants while contributing to the continuous improvement of training protocols and materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver surgical system technology training programs for surgical teams at designated training centers and remote facilities
• Lead and support specialized training programs and society events, including coordination of surgeon educators and course participants
• Conduct surveys and assessments to measure program effectiveness and gather training data
• Serve as subject matter expert for internal projects including new product development, training material creation, and training research initiatives
• Collaborate with the training team to enhance existing programs through creative and flexible approaches
• Train sales personnel to conduct in-services and technology skills development activities with customers
• Provide occasional support of surgical systems in hospital operating room environments
• Support system troubleshooting and maintenance at training centers
• Manage training center logistics, inventory control, and scheduling calendars
• Maintain capital equipment including cleaning and sterilization of instruments and accessories
• Foster positive relationships between external training center personnel and internal management
• Act as Medical Device Consultant in Austria and Germany following appropriate certification, providing guidance on proper handling of medical devices per legal requirements
• Maintain competency and currency on technology training protocols through ongoing professional development

What We're Looking For

• Professional training experience preferred
• Clinical and/or operating room experience preferred
• Medical device industry experience preferred
• High capacity for problem-solving and ability to operate independently
• Strong organizational skills and professional work ethic
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
• Strong interpersonal abilities and solution-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of adult learning principles preferred
• High capacity to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to ongoing self-development and team collaboration
• Flexibility with hours of operation and willingness to travel regularly
