About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential telehealth organization that is transforming access to mental health care. We are seeking a licensed Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their virtual provider network serving patients across the United States.
This is a 1099 contract position offering complete schedule flexibility. You'll provide evidence-based psychiatric medication management to children, adolescents, and young adults through a fully remote telehealth platform. The role emphasizes diagnostic expertise, family engagement, and culturally-responsive care for diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health medication management via 60-minute intake appointments and regular follow-up sessions
- Perform mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations
- Develop patient-centered treatment plans and provide longitudinal medication treatment
- Document treatment recommendations, communicate with patients via secure messaging, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Deliver evidence-based medication treatment following clinical best practice guidelines, including measurement-based care and patient-centered approaches
- Coordinate care with therapy and coaching services as appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE
- Unrestricted state license in Oregon
- Minimum 2 years in clinical practice
- Strong preference for an active DEA license
- Preference for additional certification or clinical experience with minors
- Preference for PA-Cs with Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or other academic psychiatry certificate program completion
- Private office space with ability to conduct telehealth sessions
- Ability to provide care to patients with a full range of diagnoses and clinical complexity levels
- Full-time resident of the United States
- Commitment to culturally-responsive care for diverse populations
