About the Role
Smarkets is seeking a Principal Product Designer to join our team. As a Principal Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in setting the direction of our products and building their core experience from scratch. You'll work closely with leadership, product, and engineering teams to define and drive design work autonomously, ensuring that simple interfaces solve complex problems in an elegant way.

- Define and drive design work from scratch, identifying what needs to be done while raising the quality bar.
- Work closely with executives, product managers, and engineers to shape the narratives our products tell and ship precise, carefully considered interfaces.
- Create simple and elegant solutions that address user needs effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Principal Product Designer or equivalent role in a technology company.

- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers and engineers.
