Lead Product Designer at Monzo in Cardiff
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Designer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the design leadership, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering innovative products that enhance user experience across all Monzo services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design strategy for new features and product enhancements, ensuring they align with our brand values and customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and marketing to ensure seamless integration of designs.
- Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Who We're Looking For
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in product design, with a proven track record in leading successful projects.
- Expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Strong visual design skills and proficiency in tools such as Figma or Sketch.
- Experience working on complex digital products, particularly within the financial services sector is highly desirable.
- A passion for creating intuitive and delightful user experiences that drive business growth.
