(Senior) Product Owner | Full Time (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics technology client seeking a Senior Product Owner to drive product development and stakeholder engagement. In this role, you will bridge the gap between customers, business objectives, and engineering teams.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Engaging directly with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements
• Creating, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog based on customer needs and business objectives
• Taking full ownership of user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements
• Leading Scrum ceremonies and ensuring effective collaboration across cross-functional teams
• Making strategic decisions on priorities when requirements shift or conflicts arise
• Ensuring the product meets UX standards, quality benchmarks, and regulatory requirements
• Communicating product vision, goals, priorities, and progress to internal and external stakeholders
• Proactively identifying product opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement
• Managing projects from initial concept through implementation with increasing autonomy
• Serving as the trusted point of contact for product-related topics across technical, sales, and other teams

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS environment
• Proven experience working with SCRUM and agile development processes
• Strong background in specifying requirements and developing user and technical stories
• Solid understanding of technology, software development, and digital products
• Ability to quickly grasp complex processes and technical requirements, creating tailored solutions that deliver value
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with C-level executives, internal teams, and customers
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple requirements simultaneously
• Fluency in both German and English
• Location in Nuremberg, Munich, or surrounding area with ability to work from office at least three days per week

Required tools and technologies:

• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design and collaboration tools
• Experience working with CRM systems

Bonus qualifications:

• Previous experience in the logistics industry
• Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment
