Our talent team is representing a confidential retail technology organization based in Düsseldorf. We are searching for an exceptional Lead Test Manager / QA Evangelist who is passionate about quality assurance and building testing excellence across complex IT platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, processes, and standards that set industry benchmarks
• Coach and mentor testing professionals, fostering the next generation of QA talent
• Establish and promote modern testing methodologies and tools, including agile frameworks and test automation
• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary testing team within an innovative retail technology environment
• Champion QA philosophy throughout the organization and within professional communities
• Drive continuous improvement of testing frameworks with creative ideas and strategic input
• Ensure quality throughout the entire project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production deployment

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience managing testing for complex IT projects, ideally within retail or commerce domains
• Deep expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks including test automation, system testing, and agile approaches
• Genuine passion for establishing quality as a cultural foundation—you are a driver, facilitator, and evangelist
• Proven experience coaching teams and moderating professional communities
• Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving abilities and infectious enthusiasm
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Excellent German and English language proficiency
